Open Days

The University of Westminster is organising various Undergraduate and Postgraduate ‘Open Day’events throughout the year. The aim is to inform and show potential interested students and parents the various courses, the task is to design a memorable and exciting identity design concept with strong typographic and pictorial/image elements.

The concept for my idea was inspired by the famous quote by Alan Fletcher “A typeface is an alphabet in a straitjacket". I wanted to push the limits of typography, I got the idea to create an experimental typeface using design tools and equipment. I created an entire alphabet of these letter forms. For the animation, the images were captured and put together using the 'Stop Motion' app.
